Rob Blisss Video Homeless Veteran Time-Lapse Transformation
In Rob Blissââ¬â¢s video ââ¬Å"Homeless Veteran Time-lapse Transformationâ⬠, Bliss asserts his claim that societyââ¬â¢s perception of your physical appearance is essential to take control of life and be successful. Rob Bliss takes a creative look at the transformation of Jim Wolf, US Veteran, through his physical transformation. Rob Bliss effectively creates his argument with his character choice for this video. Choosing an older man, who clearly by his status has been through many life experiences, appeals directly to the audienceââ¬â¢s emotions. Society says looking like you succeed, is how you succeed. Rob Bliss takes a raggedy man and provides him with a straight path into societyââ¬â¢s perception. It is such a drastic change from the ragged, dirty man to the better dressed, in control of his life man seen at the end of the video. This again works to Blissââ¬â¢s and Degage Ministries benefit. It shows that the ministry can actually change this mans life and it accredits Rob Bliss with the production of the video. Societyââ¬â¢s perception is essentially glorified in this video. Showing only the physical side of this transformation, Bliss presents the assumption that the physical side of human identity is
